I would imagine he took some sort of loan out on the home(maybe home equity) without telling her and lost all of it.



It's hard for most to understand the mind of someone with a gambling problem like that but in their head....they will somehow win all the money back they lost and then some.

I have several friends like this....they extoll all the money they make playing silly things like blackjack or video poker

If all their winning stories were true, they should quit their jobs and gamble full time
