Have you ever accidentally told a kid about Santa?

Ever let it slip to a very young child (8 or under) that Santa wasn’t real?

No, but my damn near 6 year old overheard the wife and I discussing the Santa budget earlier in the week and wondered why we were talking about Santa.

My dad when I was very young. I think pops had a few bourbons that night. Told me not to tell my sisters. My mom was so pissed

Last night our 3 year old saw what Santa got the 1 year old. I guess those are from us now.

I did- my buddy’s oldest was about 10....I had stored some dirtbikes for them a few years prior for Christmas.

He had his son at work and we were B.S. ing about things and I said “remember how cool it was when you got those 2 XRs from Canada?”

His son looked at him, “Ummm, Dad?”

Regret it to this day. Easily one of the worst days of my life to take something from
them like that.
