Has anyone ever worked/know someone who worked for Dow Chemical?

Title says it all. Does anyone have any experience working for Dow?
How is the pay compared to the other plants. And how is the benefit package? I believe they pay pension.

My father retired there from 30 yrs working.

Some things to consider if you are interested in Dow.
New employees do not have a traditional pension but they get a higher company match in a 401k type retirement plan. Pay is typically below refineries in the area and utilizes a ranking based scale. Employees at the same grade level can be paid anywhere from 85 to 120% of the salary range for that level. Based on performance reviews.
