Has anyone ever used schumacher homes

We looked into them a few years ago. They get you in there with low price advertising. You pick a plan and it comes bare bones. Then you start with upgrades and the prices goes up up up. We ended up self contracting and couldn't be happier. I'm sure they build a good house but it wasn't what we wanted.

Nailed it. Use a local reputable builder. Schumachers main office is in Ohio and can be a pain in the arse to deal with at times.

I know quite a few of their project managers. Very good group with a ton of experience. Their new office is now next to Ferrera Fire in Holden.

I was thinking the prices must go up quickly. I just wasn't sure what their base prices included.
