Friend of mine had two. The first was the nicest dog and we dog-sat her a few times. Always welcome at the house. She died a few years ago, they don't live long. They adopted a second one that I never met and it was hell on wheels. Attacked half the neighbors, bit people, absolute psycho of a dog. I think they had to put it down.
Two dogs with polar opposite results isn't enough for a reasonable conclusion. But as a dog man myself, I'd be the first one is more representative while the second one had some pre-adoption trauma.

A fella down the road from me has two of them. When I see them in the yard they look like a couple of horses running around. I imagine they shite like a horse, too. They can't be cheap to feed.

My boy eats about 10 cups a day in addition to the meat, potatoes, carrots, and gravy I put on top.
He runs me about 300 a month in food costs.
