Texas has done 22% more tests than y'all. Y'all have 60% more cases than them.

Total tests in Louisiana: 93,200
Total population of Louisiana: 4.68 million
Percentage of population tested: 2%

Total tests in Texas: 116,000
Total population of Texas: 28.3 million
Percentage of population tested: 0.4%

This is called math. Maybe try it sometime.

Only Kansas has tested less per million than Texas.

Some guy from Kansas was just on here bragging about how few cases Kansas has.

That’s not what the order says. It says you can go back to Louisiana anytime you want.

Is this legit? Wife’s grandfather just passed away and we’re wondering if we can come back home to Louisiana before the 14 days is up.

Any help would be appreciated. Having a hard time finding solid info.

According to what I’ve heard, you must self-quarantine for 14 days, or for the duration of your stay in Texas, whichever is shorter. If you only plan to stay for 2 days, you must quarantine for those days.

Not true if you got documentation of work in Texas.

I did yesterday, had a to deliver a part to LC. Not a big line, went through pretty quick. I did have my essential letter.

Well, duh. That’s already been established. I don’t think the guy who asked the question was an essential worker. He was asking about visiting.

I bought a car from a private seller in Houston last week and went through the checkpoint from Lafayette to pick it up today. Very efficient. State trooper asked where I was going, i told him Houston and coming back to Louisiana today and he said come on through, no paperwork or anything.

I imagine it’s a bigger issue for Texans who have been abroad and are trying to come back.
