What do you mean "imminent?" I have to drive thru and occasionally spend time in the upper 9th. It is a good indication of the population in that area for the last few years.
Uptown has gone from local heavy to unbearable hipster in the same timeframe.
Both places are awful. Mid City is the last bastion of real New Orleans culture. And it is fading.
