My uncle got laid constantly in Oregon, by chicks that talked to him because of it. If you don't sound like a dumb bumpkin redneck, women love a southern accent.

I was a linguist in the USAF and took an accent reduction course to rid myself of the south LA accent. Now I can copy and use almost any accent since being taught how the tongue positions for different accents.
