Damn that sucks baw. Hoped it wasn’t them though suspected it was. You put in years of work and dont reap the benefits of their new pay. Everybody I talk to is talking about going over to Crete cause of their raises recently. frick em, yet another reminder that we’re just numbers out here. With your experience and clean record though man anybody would take you, cryo, fuel, ltl. Dry van is still the red headed step child, though the money has gotten better.

Might be a blessing in disguise and you find something better. Good luck on your road to getting back out here

Companies don't care about employees. No exception to that rule. No, "It's me and another guy and I treat him well." Companies don't care about employees point blank. Period. Forever and always.

Nor should they. What needs to happen is that employees need to understand this. My employers could offer me the world for my work. You know what they are not getting? My loyalty, chances of me missing events for work, chances of me checking an email after 5 PM, chances of me putting my email on my phone. I don't give a frick because they don't give a frick.

A company you work for is not your friend. They are an entity to suck money from and not get fired, just as you are a line on the income statement. Employee Wages. That's all you are. Whether the company has 5 people or 5 million people.

If you really, truly have a passion and a talent for your work, go start your own business.
