I'm sure you can find people who aren't parents yet that would adopt (2) children, but people who are already parents can prove they are capable.
As a parent, I have a mich better tolorence for other peoples kids. Raising a child of your own flesh and blood truly changes you in every possible aspect. If it was as simple as a waking up to a child in a basket at my door step, I would absolutely do everything to take care of and raise that child like my own. I think there are a ton of people out there that would and could do the same. However, most people don't want to go through all the hoops and loops to adopt a child as it is done today. That doesn't mean they wouldn't actually do a great job at it though. It is mich easier to make a commitment/sacrifice to a child than it is the process and cost just to get the child. I imagine it is thousands and thousands to be spent before even adopting a child. I can get my wife pregnant and have a baby in my house for much less. Maybe I'm just clueless to the process, but my understanding of the process seems almost exhausting and discouraging, which it shouldn't be.
