Usually my adds are either something I recently looked at on amazon, or are related to what's on the page. While lurking the Malaysian airliner thread it kept showing ads for flight-hotel packages. Somewhat counterproductive.

I was once talking to my brother about ordering a part on his car. I started to type just the year of his vehicle into the google search bar and it auto-filled his vehicle type exactly make and model. All I typed was the year.
I have never searched for or referenced it on the computer ever. I have NO idea how that happened.

Last time I flew, I booked the flight via travelocity... I googled flights to Chicago a couple weeks ago. I've got about 8 e-mails in the last couple weeks from travelocity about their low rates to Chicago.

I get a lot of random ads. Right now it's about used golf balls on top and Verizon on the side. Prior to replying I saw a Shout paper towel ad and Bing ad. So they're hitting on 25% (Bing). Maybe it's less accurate for me since I don't use Gmail anymore?
