Can’t get food stamps if you are undocumented. Also....depending on the state....income and other requirements to get food stamps can be more strict than you think.
ETA: For example. For medicaid in AZ if you are married as a couple and you make at least $1800 a month combined (from whatever source....social security, etc)....you make too much money to get Medicaid.

Hey Nurse. This particular place is in New Port Richie. They are asking for volunteers and money to feed 1300 kids from 30 schools, for weekend food. There are at least 12 food banks there, some run by churches and some through other charities.
This particular one is saying they need help to feed their parents too. I guess my question is why, considering there are already so many places set up to do this. Also, there is a ton of money, and poor meth heads in Pasco. With a booming economy and free food available, why are they in need?
