Skillet, Tidal, bullfrog 
It's currently 43 and sun is out here....high of 71 today.
Bullfrog....today will be a great day. Going to my friend's baby's 1st bday party(it's her adopted baby) this afternoon and then going out with some girlfriend's tonight for an ugly sweater girl's night out.
I will be having several drinks tonight...gotta celebrate my new job!
It's currently 43 and sun is out here....high of 71 today.

I found out yesterday that I got the infection control job!!!!! Already gave my boss my notice. Not sure when I start though. Sometime in January. Me leaving will make them insanely short staffed so my current manager will chat with my new manager to see if I can stay on the floor until at least January 15. Told her I would only stay if my new manager was ok with it, technically since it's an internal transfer my current manager can ask the DON to let me stay longer. I originally gave my notice for January 1 so I didn't screw my current coworkers and make them have to work more holidays because I'm gone. Guess I'm just too nice.

Thanks Tino! I sooo needed some good news in my life. Being off every evening and every weekend I think will be really good for me. Plus I'll be more free to spend time with my family here. No more having to remind them of what days I'm working/off and what days to not call me cause I'm sleeping. My dad is still struggling a bit in getting adjusted here so he constantly calls me for reassurance.

Or how they constantly preach about how dire the budget is at the hospital....so that they can save money and get that MASSIVE bonus for themselves because they were able to cut costs.
I always thought I would work at the bedside for most of my nursing career. I think I would have stayed MUCH longer if the conditions were better. But I'm just too tired of it. I have so many other stressors in my life right now...work is one thing I CAN control. Ultimately I have to do what is best for me and my family right now.
Best part...I got a raise as well!! I was nervous going to days cause of the paycut...turns out I'll actually make more now(and salaried at that).
