Morning shot over with. I have another one I have to do tonight. Shots twice a day (7 am and 7pm). Butters watching me the whole time like "wtf are you doing??!"

I need to buy a bag of hershey kisses and treat myself to a piece of chocolate after each shot. Luckily it's the shots in my belly with the little needle and not the big shots in the hip with the giant needle yet (those SUCK).

No green on yet. Going to a spring training game this afternoon so I'll make sure to wear a green shirt.

Nurse, if you don’t mind me asking, what’s the success rate with this?

About 30%

For women 35 and younger it's about a 40% chance of working.

Yes, lots of chocolate helps. Especially after the PIO shots.

PIO shots

Ugh I really do hate those. 5 days of those and I hated them so much.

I'm having a margarita today at the game.

Nurse at my clinic told me having a single drink on occasion this first week is ok. That the main problem is that alcohol dehydrates. So if I have a drink...I need to drink a lot of water to balance that out.

She did say absolutely no alcohol starting next Monday(3/25). I'll have to ask if I can still have one glass of wine or a cocktail next Sunday (3/24) since it's my bday.

Eta: Btw....good morning HC

A glass of wine on your birthday won't hurt anything. I wouldn't say my doctor recommended it, but he was very much if it will help you relax do it.

I'd probably pay someone $100 to deliver me a gallon of mimosas right now.

My birthday is already being hijacked with:

Monitoring appointment early that morning (Happy Birthday to me...vaginal ultrasound and getting bloodwork as a present)

My niece's baptism is also that day

I normally treat my bday as my own personal day that I just relax and do whatever I want. If I can't do that I should at least be allowed a cocktail
