PB, a beeper/pager was a stupid device that you would call and let the person with said device know you needed to contact them. Like a primitive text.

No you typed your number or a short message and it would show it. It was about the size of a cigarette pack

No, the devive would show a call back #, or some other #'s (143 - I love you, 56 - Sweet dreams) it literally just showed numbers.

I had to wear one when I worked at LCMH. It would give a voice command. Code Blue in ER or surgery room 1
