No I do not. I still go up to my old floor all the time. It is one of the floors I'm responsible for coverage wise as an infection control nurse. Every time I see one of my old coworkers they ask me if I miss the bedside yet. Each time I'm like "I miss working with you guys, but am very happy away from the bedside right now".
I used to have frequent lower back issues as well. Haven't had major back problems since I left the bedside.

Our infection control nurse is named Candy. Thought that was kinda ironic because she is always making sure we are not eating in PT care areas lol

Working nights I can tell you we ate in the nurse's station ALL THE TIME
Now that I'm in the role I'm in...I'll never do that again. There was a hospital that had a hep A outbreak on a floor...and staff got sick. Guess why? Eating at nurse's station. Patient's father had the hep a and kept coming up to nurse's station. Must not have washed his hands and kept touching counter at nurse's station I think is what I read.
