They are just using sharpies instead of the correct eyebrow pencil.

I have bought Anastasia ones in the past and really liked them. But $20 a pop is kinda steep.
Now my go to is Loreal Brow Stylist shape and fill
Can get for less than $10
Also...since I wear full fringe bangs now...they cover my eyebrows so I just sweep the pencil over my brows real quick to give it a little shape and hide scars.
Want to save $$ on foundation...wear full bangs.
