I was on my way to a job in MS when I received a call and was rerouted to Augusta. Did some quick calculations in my head and determined that by skipping lunch I could hit Atlanta before 5:00 rush hour. Failed to account for time zone change and hit that shitshow right at rush.

on a side note, my uncle who died a couple of months back gave a kidney to his younger brother back in 1973...younger brother lived well over 30 years with the kidney and it wasn't kidney failure that finally did him in!!!!!

Two kidney tidbits
A kidney weighs ~5ozs and a healthy one doesn't stop working. Even being carried between the donor and recip. it produces/ secretes a small amount of urine.

I had nephrotic syndrome as a kid, which almost killed me. Kidneys were fricked, then I went in to remission. I'm not doing them any favors these days.
