It’s been a long week. I’m looking forward to this weekend and having some time to decompress.
Starting to wind down the year?
Do y'all have some sort of eog testing?
You're welcome..

I was just contemplating mimosas. I have no place to go for a while. Cheers to you, Lizzy.

Good morning all. Tarde a la fiesta, but here. I got my baby home yesterday. There was a wreck on I-75 and traffic was backed up almost 30 miles.

For the 4 am risers, don't forget that a good nap is way under rated.

There’s the TAKS, but I haven’t been involved with it for a long time. That’s one of the benefits of seniority. I just have to nudge my students toward the standard. It’s a good school with competitive, college-bound students, so it isn’t all that hard.

Good deal. Not sure if you and i have discussed this but my daughters elected to do the e- school this year. As I'm sure YOU know, it's different from home schooling. They've done well with it. Kinda cool.

Good morning Avery. My daughter told me yesterday that she now realizes all the stuff they neglected to teach in high school. She was an AP kid, but still had some catching up to do in her freshman year.
The transition is real.

Good morning to you as well, Liz.
LC, I’ve taught e-school during the summer, along with junior college courses. Technology has afforded us good options for education.

I got shell-shocked my freshman year. And I was an awesome high school student. I was at a small school and my biggest problem was I never learned how to study.

AP courses are too focused on teaching to the test. I could say many things, but I don’t want to completely derail the thread.
GM to you, hangit.
