It depends on yardage, who I am playing with, and how I hit my woods on the range. 90% of the time, I play the one-ups. I'll play from the tips if I am playing on one course in particular due to length, and sometimes on my other courses if the other variables call allow it.

Atchafalaya. Tips and Down. That course I can understand people moving up a few tees. It is pretty damn long

I hit my best drives about 240/250 I'm 55 yo,I play to 12hcp. I enjoy playing the tees that are closest to 5800 yds. I can't see the fun in hitting fairway woods to most par 4's and having every par 5 be unreachable in two. Play the tees you enjoy playing.
