I'd skip it if I were you.

Saying that based on what I've heard.

It was always in good shape back then. Layout was fun and different for each tee box. I think it is maybe #4 that is a blind tee shot par 3 from the backs, a the next tee next up sit on top the hill for a normal shot. Both 9 and 18 have exaggerated elevation from fairway to green.

I d heard about the manufactured elevation too.

I'd hit it. I was just told to skip it and play Carter instead.

I always wondered what it looked like these days. It was pretty well maintained back in the day, or at least in my junior high opinion.

How are the courses around Birmingham? Looking at taking a summer trip to Oxmoor and Farmlinks.

Good golfing around Bham. 3 Robert Trent Jones course (2 at Oxmoor and 1 at Ross Bridge). Oxmoor also has a nice little 18 hole Par 3 course. Farmlinks is one of a kind and always gets good press (playing there in a couple weeks so I'll report back). More in and around the area but those are the top (public).

Heading to Oxmoor for some quality range time in the morning and may play the par 3 if I'm feeling froggy
