Pro V1's

Everything.

My drives suck. I can only hit max 260 yard drives. Most of the drives I am hooking them like a pirate. I can not stay disciplined to a consistent swing plane.

I bought a new set. Ping G-30's with a red lie. My irons are so fire right now. Woods are turrible. It is either a hook or slice. I swing slower and slower trying to find a consistent swing plane.

I've heard nothing but good things about the course.

Every time I'm in El Dorado for work it rains, will play Mystic this year for sure.

Well, it was great. It reminds me a lot of Trails End in Arcadia, but with Squire/Calvert greens. It's LONG too. We played the blues and I think it was 7100 yards. You had to throw it high with some spin to get it to stick, but a bit too much spin and it would spin off and be at the bottom of a hill 40 feet off the green. Very challenging course that will only get better as it matures.

I haven't been in a while. Who is this Don guy you speak of? Pro shop?

He was the Pro at Calvert. He always does all of my club work, grips, shafts, loft/lie adjustment, etc. Lessons are great and CHEAP. Usually a dollar a minute for members. He's a great guy.
