Been up since 4 something.
Weather in Charlotte County is gonna be bad today.
Something happened in history today.
George Washington died.
Alabama is admitted as the 22nd state, making 11 slave states and 11 free states.
Max Planck presents the quantum theory at the Physics Society in Berlin.
Roald Amundsen and four others discover the South Pole. (1911)
Happy Saturday!

Saturday
Prolly do some yard work and order a few stocking stuffers as final prep for Christmas.

An old man on his deathbed asks his wife if she's ever been unfaithful.
He says, "I won't be angry. I just want to know for sure so I can go in peace."
She says, "I'm sorry to say this, but the truth is that I was unfaithful to you on three occasions."
He says, "Who? When? Tell me!"
"Well... do you remember back when our little Johnny was so sick? And he had to have that operation?"
"Yes.."
"Well, the truth is... We were so poor back then and could never afford it. But the doctor said he would do it for free if I would sleep with him. So I did. And he did the operation and Johnny lived. That was the first time I was unfaithful."
The old man looks upset, but he says, "Well, it hurts me to think of you being with another man, but of course I can't be mad at you for that. You saved our son's life. But what was the second time?"
"Do you remember when our daughter Sarah received a scholarship for law school? Well, the truth is that her grades weren't even good enough to get in. But I had a meeting with the chancellor, and he said he would make an exception if I were to sleep with him. So I did."
The old man says, "It hurts me to think you had to do this. But our daughter is a very successful lawyer now. You only did this to help our family. I forgive you. But what was the third time?"
"Well... Do you remember back when you were running for the school board, and you were 100 votes short?"
