I’d been gone for a week and a half and they hadn’t had any turnout. When he’s like that I surprisingly have better control of him on his back. When situations get scary and everyone else jumps off their horses I stay up there. We got charged by a loose horse once. Had I been holding him he’d have been gone. On his back he stared her down and didn’t even move. I did grab mane bc I figured he’d wheel and take off too. He’d have made a great track pony.
