Sorry for your loss B&B…
Had to bury my LSU roommate and best man when I married my first ex-wife. He had a recurrence of bladder cancer that ended up as untreatable.
As a lot of y’all know, I presented his flag to his widow.

We live in a small town, and the downtown has grown very...cute? A park by the river, with live bands, some restaurants, across the street, also with live bands. The city put up lots of Christmas lights. I made it a point to go down the bouncy slide twice, yesterday. I figure I weigh about as much as most kids these days.
2025 was a rough year. Lost Mom, her sister, my boss and changed jobs twice. I am not a fan of change. But, my relationship with my Father has grown, as I help him navigate online dating
He is convinced they are all chat-bots (he's probably not worng) and I said at the first sign of a woman asking for money, run! Not bad marital advice for the younger generation, either! ETA: B&B May God be with you as you put your Mom to rest.

Good Morning Everyone. The house is quiet again except for the faint hum of the washer doing bedsheets. Kids and grandkids have all headed back home. Hope Santa was good to y'all!
