The doc who wrote it for me has since retired. I am allergic to every other potent pain killer and for some reason doctors hate prescribing dilaudid.

I’m in disbelief my damn bottle has disappeared.

I broke my back in Crested Butte a few years ago, there was an orthopedist that had a seasonal office right on the resort property, he X-rayed, gave me a hand full of hydrcodone and wanted to airlift me to Denver, I told him we were going home in the morning could it wait? he said as long as you go straight to the hospital when you land, the first thing the doc did when I got there was give me that through an IV, that was the most euphoric feeling I think I've ever had

Yes. It’s also for pill heads who can’t find relief with Percocet though.

I hope you get some relief, or at least get lucky with the procedure, I didn't really have any discomfort when I had mine removed, while friends of mine had a rough time with it

Nobody's Dr is prescribing dilaudid for a bruised rib.

I got it through the machine in a hospital after neck surgery. It would knock me out cold after a few minutes. No consciousness, no pain.

yep, I had shoulder surgery twice in the last year(same shoulder,) the doc used propofol as part of the cocktail both times, first time I was lights out immediately, the next time, same anesthesiologist, I told him I'd always heard the build up about how good that felt but was knocked out so fast the last time I didn't get to feel it, he kind of smirked and said said I can handle that, whatever he did the last time was a pretty cool feeling, I was sort of conscious right up until they put me on the table and gassed me
