My patient is asleep- so no one to talk to and he has a tin roof and the rain hitting it is like a sound machine- and I love a sound machine while I sleep so it’s vv hard to stay awake rn.

I’m not a home health nurse technically.

I’m a Home Infusion Nurse full time these days. So all I do is IV infusions for patients with chronic illnesses. I infuse immune globulins and biologics primarily.

I don’t do wound care, bed baths, or anything else like that.

I’m in a specialized role specific for the drugs I infuse.

I still work part time in the ICU though bc I still love the bedside in a critical care area.
