There are no such thing as "deals" in January and February in my area. Nothing. Unless you move to the hood. Not gonna happen. We will find something but it will not be cheap

It is the developers issue. They owned up to it. It is their responsibility to have these stations built and inspected before a certain amount of homes are put on the existing one. I rent a home in a big nice neighborhood and we see them when we go for walks.

The builder told us that they had the next station build on time but it failed inspection for some reason. He said it was unusual that they fail. He is a huge builder and has built hundreds of them. They have repaired whatever was wrong and it is now back being inspected. Since there are so many people that need to inspect it, it takes time.

It will mess up a few things for us and I am putting a $$ amount on it this week. I am going to write a letter to the president of the company and request that amount be paid to us. Not sure if it will do anything but I will do it anyway. Our contact that we signed with them states that they have 24 months to build our home and close or we can ask for our deposit back. So they honestly are not liable until 4 more months pass. We will see

In the mean time, we will have to adjust. And we will. I will probably put my belongings in a POD instead of just moving them directly to the new house, which will also cost more money, and just find something somewhere. I actually looked for a condo on the beach. I figured if we were going to have to pay a crazy rent for a month or two, might as well be a great experience. Cant find one

We also lose our Homestead Exemption next year by not closing in December. Florida requires you to own the home Jan 1 to be able to file for that calendar year. Probably cost us another $1,000 in taxes.

We will see what happens.

Waiting on my chiropractor. My standing appt is at 9:15 but apparently they’ve made new patient appts and they are running way over. I’m extremely busy with work and do not have the time to deal with this but my decrepit body needs it
