I don't know much about bourbons so I just took the pictures and listened to him tell me about the back story behind them.
He's a pretty cool dude.

give me a sec and I'll post the rest of the pics I took of his bourbons.
He also said that a lot of bourbon collectors, do jus that- collect them. But he likes to collect them AND drink them.
He said his collection would be vv valuable if the bottles were unopened. but yolo, right?

see that's my problem.... I always buy what I want to drink and before I know it the bottle is empty. And I'm starting to get tried of all the damn high prices when normally some of these bottles are just $30 or so....

my next trip to the town his liquor store is in, I'm going to stop by and let him show me what he keeps on hand. Although, I will have no clue what I'm looking at.
He said he has ppl from all over (MS, AR, MO, Ky) that stop buy his place because he keeps super rare bourbons and donesn't mark up the prices. he seems like a legit good dude, who really wants to share good bourbons with ppl.
of course, I am a cynical mf so I took that with a grain of salt- until I'm proven otherwise anyways
