That being said, THIS is why I will always be a Kim Mulkey fan. I have watched her for over 20 years as a coach, and the passion she has for her team rivals the COMPASSION she has for her opponents team, after the game. Even in LSU losses, I've watched her take individual time with opposing players.

In this instance, LSU dominated, but this kid from Michigan played her last college game, and Coach Kim KNOWS what that feels like, and while being proud of her team--and wanting to go celebrate with her team--she still took the time to console the opposing team's player.

That right there is class, sportsmanship, and the epitome of an incredible coach, all rolled into one.
