I now have my close girl group (thanksgiving group) who came together through volunteering at our kids’ school and I have my tennis women groups. Both are essential to my sanity. It’s so nice to have friends who are there because you genuinely love each other instead of because your kids are friends or your husbands work together.

and you have your OT Family...what are we chopped liver??

But you still had close female friends. I’m talking about women who have no close female friends at all. And then try to brag about it like it makes them so cool. Those are usually the ones that have no problems stealing other women’s husbands. Can’t trust a shady bitch like that

this plus enough women friends in my family (sisters, cousins, aunts) so I didn't need more girl drama. Guys are easy to be friends with...they just want to eat, watch sports, and discuss hot women. You don't have to go shopping or discuss pinterest (which I absolutely hate the format)

You aren’t only cringe because of the picture asking. I think you are under that impression…

One of my best girlfriends is my daughter’s boyfriend’s mom.

And I of course have my work family, which is mostly women. When you spend 12 hours a day and most holidays with people you get close.

Madam - glad to hear I’m not alone! I always feel like an ungrateful bitch so I never complain about it but I truly hate sitting there. Flip side is they are always free so I can’t exactly ask my husband to buy tickets - especially for the NCG. I guess it’s not that bad of a problem to have.

Berg, I would be totally fine in a suite for any baseball game. Don’t love baseball as much anyway and crowd energy isn’t the same as football games. Think I’d like regular seats for an LSU basketball game though. I’ve never been to an LSU basketball game! It’s a bucket list thing for me now.

My last bad day in a suite was for a Pelicans game where the beverage choices were Pepsi or white wine.

I am a red wine, coca cola person...it was miserable

You know you can walk out the door and walk to the concession stand and buy whatever beverage your little heart desires....you dont have to be a freeloader your whole life

How is this possible?

I think we are going to try and do a weekend where they have gymnastics and basketball on the same weekend, if they even do this. I think my youngest niece would love it, plus hopefully by then the older one has been accepted to LSU and we can go check things out with her.

Morning, Aspercel

I usually read threads every day but I’m drained from political topics lately and there’s been so many. Thread quality has been lacking sometimes.

I really didn’t have much interest in basketball until my late 20s. I played until my sophomore year of high school but only because my coach made me to stay ready for track. I really resented that

Morning folks
I woke up to a Russian lady sipping tea while bundled up on my couch. She had gotten up early to walk my dog.
