A women goes to her doctor and says” I have psittacosis of the pussy”. He replies “that’s impossible that’s a disease that parrots suffer from”. She is insistent that she has psittacosis and wants to be examined, He performs an examination and says” As I said you don’t have psittacosis but I see you have had a cockatoo”.

Good Morning Tigernurse.
I wanted to tell you and Lithium that I started Lisinopril 10 MG 1xday yesterday at 4:00 AM. Found an old sphygmo and stethoscope. That was a comedy trying to take my own pressure. So I bought a digital cuff.
In the 117/68 range all day.

good deal! glad it's already helping!
at work, all of of pt's who take lisinopril have it scheduled to be given at 1 pm. I'm going to ask our pharmacists why that is. Every other bp med is given in the am with 9 am meds, unless it's ordered twice a day, then it's usually like a 9am/9pm type deal, except for lisinopril. it's ALWAYS ordered at 1pm.

I use one of the digital wrist bp cuffs on my home infusion pts too. they're surprisingly accurate.

I started my coffee intake when woke up at midnight with a horrible migraine.
coffee, a heating pad directly on my dadgum head and fioricet are the only things that help take the edge off when the headaches wake me from sleep.
I'm going to be dragging tail around lunch time today.
