Did you watch Bloodline? I love Key West. We are only 1.5 hours from Miami but it takes about 5 hours to get to KW. We usually take the 3 hour boat ride out of Frt. Myers.

Bloodline? No.
Still a lot of damaged structures. A lot of 'salt water kill', I guess? Candidly, kind of a rough looking area. Bunch of homeless, hard-scrabble folks.
The 1 year anniversary was while we were there. We went to a church service on the 9th followed by a gathering of a couple churches 'noting' the date...

BBQing for the family. We will meet up at MIL's house for dinner as we always did in the pass as a family. We will be doing thank you notes today. Tomorrow, they will be moving MIL's casket to her finally resting place next to FIL. They didn't have the hole dug at the time.

Probably. But if history has shown us anything, it is that that loss, no matter how shitty, may not matter in the end.
But I dont see that happening this year. We have some glaring issues that need to be addressed.
