I've only hunted a few times when it was in the teens and let's just say I was miserable because my feet are the first to go always, and it's inevitable

I live in Gadsden now,N.E AL,but lived 15 years in Elmore and Tallapoosa Counties,around Lake Martin.
Next to Coosa and Lee County.
Lots of Deer down there.

We have a few, if we could just keep the people that hunt around us running dogs off of our lease chasing our deer away we would be at doing a lot better this year. We're slowly but surely get rid of the dogs so we should have a good January. We are in pre-rut right now and with this cold snap should really get things moving around this week and next week.
It also doesn't hurt to be surrounded by a 30,000 acre trophy hunting lodge either.

We used to have the same problem at a Club I was in in Tallapoosa County.I never did but you were supposed to shoot any dogs that came through.
