Well I wanted to be called in...I was supposed to work and my check will now be short any hours I missed. And I can't use any vacation time to cover it cause I need it for upcoming trips.
Just not at 2:52 am. I had gotten ready for bed like 5 minutes before that thinking I was in the clear. Literally my head hit the pillow and the phone rang.

Till 7 am. That is why we are only on call until 3 am. Not worth it to call us in after that for only like an hour or so. If the ER has admits they will just keep them down there until day shift can accept the patient.
Once you are called in...you have an hour to get into work. I just hate driving to the ghetto at 3 am. I saw a few drunk drivers on the freeway as well.

I didn't go driving around my old neighborhood at 3 am either. I was robbed at gunpoint as a teen in my driveway...at like 11pm. No way I was out of the house later than that.
