Never realized how many of you are current or former military.
I was never in the military but my father went to Castle Heights M.A. in Tennessee, my uncle (deceased) was 7th SF at Fort Bragg and was the General's orderly during Nam, my Grandfather was awarded a Silver Star in WW2 with the 8Th ID.
Fwiw, just saying I'm not military but grew up in a military family.

Actually I'm not sure what it is, was hoping someone could tell me. He had a full military funeral and they mentioned it...not sure why.
I think it means he was a sharp soldier or something.
Edit: I do remember him telling me he would drive the General around in a jeep.
