Well he wanted the lift and bigger wheels/tires. For a jeep...it makes it look much better. He also actually takes his offroad so it also serves a function.
I don't want to pay 4k to lift and replace my wheels/tires on my jeep so I'll just take his when my tires need replacing. Mine are good for about 50k from what I read online.

Rims and tires on a truck or jeep look badass imo. Stock wheels and tires don't do it for those vehicles. Just my opinion
