It is looking like a 95% chance. I'm the only person they're bringing in to interview. And being that they're paying for all my expenses, it is looking extremely favorable.

That's awesome. Congrats. Hope it all works out! Does that mean you won't have time for TD?

I don't know. I will probably start a thread or two during the transition for recommendations, if I do go.

But, I plan to retire from TD thereafter and get some semblance of a functioning social life and press the reset button. I hate BR so much, I think it's made me hate the people. I plan to meet people and bring a positive attitude. CR isn't naturally negative. He's just repressed.

That's awesome. It's crazy to me that someone would hate BR cause I love it so much, but I understand not everyone appreciates the positives of BR and it's easy to scapegoat some of the negatives.

I honestly hope it all works out and you are able to live a fulfilled life in DC.

Thanks Fin and JMCS. I appreciate it. I applied for one place in D.C. and got call back off a cold application.

I think it's akin to winning the lottery.

In BR, I couldn't even get contacted for crap below my current level. Sometimes things are just meant to be.

I grew up 4 miles from Tiger Stadium. I went to school at LSU. I never lived anywhere else. I'm 29 in a month and I'm just burnt.

You sound very similar to me, but I don't really get burnt out on things. I guess technically Im living in Beaumont right now and I am actually in the middle of my longest absence from BR in my life which will end up being 27 days away from BR. I miss it like crazy.

Thats because, like I did at your age, you are still sort of living the college life when you are there.

Anyway I have a feeling I will be at the caddy cafe Saturday after the draft/Saints game. Hint hint J...
