Morning OT from Lake Palestine

I’m 35 and single man. I just don’t know much about history. Or at least there are a lot of things that I only know on a surface level, but nothing more. Any Jeopardy question and I’m not going to get it. But I guess it’s just bizarre how advanced they were. I was reading a Reddit thread and it talked about their irrigation system. I minored in sociology(I know) and this stuff fascinated me.

[quote]I read 'World Book' encyclopedias as a youth to satisfy my history interest. [/quote
I scanned and read every page of the World Book’s from A-Z twice. Including the yearbooks and special editions. ( Warren Commission, the Space Program, etc. ) That’s what I would do while the family watched TV.
You talked about “regurgiating material”. How true that is. But it sure helped when you took all your Standardized test before High School. Not many of your peers knew and understood why Ww1 started did they ?
I have also read every National Geographic from the 1st one to about 1995 when I didn’t really enjoy them anymore.
I read and still read almost everything I can get my hands on. Overdue for a trip to the used bookstore. It is much better than a “ new” bookstore because you have such an eclectic selection.
With the Internet now you can get into the Library of Congress. You know how much shite they have to read in there?
But the biggest treat was when you could getyour hands on a Playboy magazine, they had really great stories.

I planned to take my daughter on campus, take her to lunch and have her buy a few clothing items in the store.
That sounds fun. Is she going to attend a school uptown??
Good morning, everyone.

Lol. Delgado serves a purpose (a porpoise?)
My oldest is the same age as t00f’s daughter. We’ve been doing all the LSU stuff up here.
