Taking him to the vet today to get an opinion on his overall health.
Decided to make arrangements with this lady that comes to your home and sends him to doggy heaven. Infinite legs to hump, birds to bark at, and rugs to shite on.

I’m so sorry you are having to make these decisions for your lil man
Having a vet come to your house when it’s that time is THE best option imo. At least your dog will be home where he is comfortable instead of some metal table at a vet’s office. Understandably this option won’t always be available (sometimes things happen fast at a vet’s office).
ETA: get them to do a paw print in clay to keep. That’s what the vet who came to our house did when we had to put down my bf’s mastiff.
