It works for me every time. I give them the one with the pill, then follow it up with a Milkbone. They swallow the pill pocket quickly so that they can get their Milkbone before another dog does.

I have a picky eater who is not food driven and couldn’t give a shite about treats most of the time.

Horses are the worst to medicate. I’d take pilling a dog any day

I tried two kinds of cheese and ended up forcing them to swallow the pills...

will run out and get some sliced turkey, they normally gulp that down and should go pretty easy on their stomach...

Aspy, I can only imagine trying to give meds to a horse...

Hopefully there’s some improvement today. Still really swollen so it’s hard to tell how much lameness is pain and how much is discomfort from swelling.
