Global entry in New Orleans

Has anyone walked up prior to their global entry interview in New Orleans and been seen? The interview schedule is months out and I'd like to be approved before April.
Considering taking time off work if they'll see me as a walk up, but don't want drive down and be told no if someone has already had the experience.
Thanks

Scedule it at a bigger airport during a connection on an upcoming flight. I did it in Houston and it only took 15 minutes.

You need to refresh the page every chance you get. The interview last only 5 minutes so I'm sure they would take a walk in. I called and asked if my wife could be interviewed same time as me and they said no problem

My first flight of the year is direct msy to cancun and its on a Saturday. I could drive to Houston I guess. Or fly. Probably cheaper

My dad did it in Houston, he lives in NOLA.

If you don't fly much, why Global Entry?
