This economic system we have, which is partially driven by a social/racial caste system, will 100% not have a whole region being powered by the labor of poor white laborers. Can’t have them being the lowest man on the totem pole - can’t have them finally find out they’re also being robbed blind!

If we who produce would stop supporting those who don’t, then we would have all of the labor we could possibly need and it would be at a “living“ wage.

Im always amazed by folks who refuse to move up. In Lincoln there's so many plants that pay over 30/hr that are still looking for work and you get these people who are stuck working 14/hr jobs at gas stations or Walmart. Like dont you want to move up and get out of the ghetto/trailer park?

I know quite a few people who farm including my current girlfriends family and they dont hire hands to work directly for them. Maybe in California its different but here in Nebraska you only get immigrants in meat packing towns like Grand Island and Lexington.
