re: Getting a jump on the annual Thanksgiving family thread

Thanksgiving day update;

More sad than hilarious. Uncle did not come for Thanksgiving but texted mom this morning to ask if she wanted to FaceTime. She agreed but has been crying pretty much all morning. Saw him for the first time in quite awhile and he’s looking ROUGH. He dyed his hair darker I guess to look younger but looks like he’s been on a coke bender. Skinny and just rough looking. Tranny was on the phone call. He/she/it is actually pretty but that voice sounds like Danny Glover. Mom has continued her sadness. Supposedly, the trans boo has become a believer in God after the transition so that’s somehow how he’s justifying it. Mom has been having some health issues stemming from breast cancer earlier this year. She’s in remission now but is on the subsequent treatment that is apparently standard when you have cancer. She’s feeling pretty worn out from the meds and therapy and uncle has just kinda been an extra kick in the gut.




Just kinda sad honestly.
