Geo Fences

Does anyone have experience with these Geo-fences? I wanted to buy one to keep my dogs inside my 5 acres and keep him out of the river. It seems a lot more logical than burring a line around the entire thing. I was told you can set the markers and put them to warn then shock the dog. Can anyone recommend a brand or give me their experience with these? Outdoor board didn't have much, what's the OT have?

I have used the in ground wire for the past 8 years and it's worked great. However, I'm interested to hear some more about these. I did a little research last night and didn't make it very far.
