There is a a surface wind shift (backing) as you head NE towards McComb. That could be a trigger for cells moving into that area.

I went to WC and saw a bunch of Pics from Miss and Ark and Bama.. HORRIBLE... Mother nature can be very cruel at times... I may come into weather threads tto voice what I think may happened and get bashed for it, But What has happened is just awful....

CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHERN ST. HELENA AND
NORTHERN TANGIPAHOA PARISHES...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

THE CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT AREAS IN AND
AROUND...ROSELAND...AMITE...TANGIPAHOA...KENTWOOD...WILMER...MOUNT
HERMAN AND FRANKLINTON

HEAVY RAIN ASSOCIATED WITH THESE STORMS WILL ALSO RESULT IN REDUCED
VISIBILITY ALONG AREA ROADWAYS. DRIVERS TRAVELING THROUGH THE
IMPACTED AREAS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION. SOME PONDING OF WATER WILL
ALSO BE POSSIBLE ON LOW LYING ROADWAYS AND IN AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE.

THE PRIMARY THREATS FROM THESE STORMS ARE FREQUENT LIGHTNING...PEA TO

I'm in hammond but have family in Tylertown. Was supposed to be driving there later but I think I'll hold off.

Cells south of I-20 are still chasing that boundary, doesn't appear to be much potential elsewhere in the watch areas at this time.

Tomorrow might be interesting in MN but the timing of storms probably limits the threat in Texas and Oklahoma.

shite just went down in downtown Dallas. Sirens and shite. Thought the Nazis were bombing. I am in Fountain Place which is essentially just a giant Tub o' Death on days like this
