Yikes my dude. Yeah you didn't do to well today. If your unsure of an item, look up the solds on ebay to see what it's worth. That has saved my arse countless times.

Who the hell buys beanie babies for actual money these days?

We had a Rubbermaid container full that said free, nobody took them. We even tried giving them to kids for free.

The eBay listings people see for thousands of $ never actually sell. Or when they do, they can be traced back to the seller or the sale is shown as never actually having been funded/completed. Nobody is actually paying HIGH money for any beanie babies.

I've heard the beanie baby's that sell for thousands of $ is money laundering.

I woulda donated the trombone to a school band program.

Lots of schools are starving for more of the big brass instruments that students don’t usually own. Tubas, trombones, baritones, mellophones, etc.

That’s no fun.
And not doing great today (I’ll still more than double my $100), I knocked it out of the park yesterday.

What’s wrong with the trombone?

Antique prefers his trombones of the rusty variety.

Nothing, it’s just worth what I paid for it

I find that incredibly hard to believe.

Brass instruments for band (marching or performance) are usually very expensive, even if used.

It’s about damn time, it took three pages for somebody to finally mention a rusty trombone

Sure, if you rent or buy them from the local rip off stores. We buy our daughter's instruments off the internet for cheap. Even if we have to replace it every year, we'll never pay what the local stores want to charge us.
