This is a perfect example of a big problem in this country. People spend more fricking time arguing that their wording is better than they do looking at the real problem. Some piece of shite murdered someone, stole a husband, stole a son and stole a father but you dickheads are talking about race. This country needs more action and less words.

Another side effect of this tragedy is fact that when something like this happens involving a black and a white, we start to generalize about everyone in that particular race...and I'm just as guilty as anyone.
We all know their are truly schitty people in every race and it shouldn't be about color. Unfortunately, in our society today, we've made it about color and that is not going to change. PC is the order of the day.

Well then the portions of those groups that don't like the negative stereotypes should deter the pieces of shite not blame other people. People don't want to raise their children but they don't blame themselves when that kid becomes a piece of shite.

Anyone could need help and for that reason I'm proud to pay taxes to help people. With that being said, we need a hard cap on the duration of benefits for a lifetime. What used to motivate people to work was called food and cold but this country refuses to use these free motivators.

I agree completely with this. When someone commits a heinous crime, even if they are "one of my own," I want them punished...period!

Yep. Even if it was a family member I would want them put away.
It's too much us against them. All the civilized people should view it as us (civilized) vs. them (violent criminals)....not color.

This isn't a racial crime but the thing in Detroit last week where the mob beat the truck driver was. IDK if that has been posted on here but it was disgusting!

yep, but I guarantee you none of the networks will cover the trial of the accused attackers. we spent six months on the GZ trial. You probably wont here a word (domestically) about the Detroit or Indy events.

I saw yesterday they did charge one of the Detroit attackers with a hate crime. I haven't seen a thread about the attack on here and I am not going to start one since I am not going to give my opinion about race relations on TD anymore....you could do it though!

funny thing is, my thread wasn't intended to be about race relations. Just the obvious bias of the media in their reporting. People have a hard time staying focused.

Thats why more and more people are getting angry and saying things like "this should be a hate crime". Because if it were reversed, Al, Jessie MSM and even the POTUS would probaly be doing just that. Its getting old very quick. And it will not end well.
