When I was in Afghanistan in 2010 we were building a contingency center to run the air war in case the Air Operations Center in Qatar was somehow knocked out or comm was disabled. My boss, who was a Colonel A-10 pilot, jokingly said it should be the Air Force Contingency Operations Center-Kabul. We all laughed our arse off thinking that would never get approved, but it did so we had the AFCOCK.
