Be sure there's a paper trail for everything positive you do, and for everyone else's screw-ups.

This should help keep you employed while you find a new job.

I hear ya. I'm there with that type of initiative and usually don't need to let them know. It's generally more cross functional things that I don't have the authority to do:

1. Need to shift our load profile more in the day time since we're about to be put on a time-of-use energy rate and other departments need to adjust
2. Finance jokers are installing equipment and not having us review it, causing it to be non-standardized
3. A processing line is being set up and they haven't even hired an operating manager and don't even have a source of water for the facility

Stuff like that

There is never a reason to mention your MBA in industrial maintenance. This may be a reason why they hate you. I hope you only added that for OT perspective, but you clearly didn't graduate from Harvard, otherwise you would have told us .

Ha. I totally don't mention it at work. I've come across the credentialist types with their degrees on the wall.

Their inability to take on suggestions is noted and a source of frustration for many others besides myself. Except the finance team... they're like tyrants to be honest.

I need to check out Extreme Ownership, have heard good things.

Thanks for the suggestions
